an app built-in feature for
personalized health recommendations
Carrefour wanted to encourage healthier shopping habitsand find new ways to recommend relevant products to customers.
Users, however, were unaware of potential nutrient gaps in their diets, and existing recommendations lacked personalization.

After several rounds of user interviews I designed CarreHealth, a new in-app feature that analyzes purchase behaviour to detect possible vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
The feature then recommends suitable products directly inside the Carrefour app — helping users make smarter, health-conscious choices while driving additional sales for the brand.

CarreHealth creates measurable value for both sides:
For users: simplified access to personalized health guidance.
For Carrefour:
A projected €30,000 monthly revenue increase per 100 000 users through targeted upselling.
Strengthened brand perception as a health-oriented retailer.
The new feature fits seamlessly within Carrefour’s existing app design and brand identity, maintaining familiarity while introducing an innovative service that adds value and trust.
CarreHealth creates measurable value for both sides.
